Description

You are bidding on my personal copy that I purchased new in 1959.  Miles Davis, KIND OF BLUE, Stereo LP with the 6 eye label.  This is an early issue I think and has all the errors showing that it is early.

On the cover is Adderley's name misspelled as "Adderly".  On the back the tracks are listed out of order.  Here is what is says on the vinyl:  xsm47326 - 1 AG or the other side the last letters are 1 AJ.   Does this indicate an early pressing?  The cover says: Columbia CS 8163 Stereo Fidelity.

I am a recently retired music professor and have not played this disc in probably 30 years.  I am not a record seller or collector so my rating of the condition is just as an owner.  I would say the cover is in very good condition.  The only wear is on the top of the cover (see photo).   The spine where is says the record name is very good.  The cover shows some wear but I would rate well above average and I have had it in a protective plastic sleeve for many years.

The record itself is used with some scratches, etc. but I would rate it as very good.  I remember playing the So What side more often so the other side shows a little less use.  I just played it today and it sounds great.  Not many pops, etc. and it doesn't skip or get stuck.  I think it is a very good original LP.

I will be happy to answer any other questions about the LP.

I am not a record seller but the original owner and bought it new when I was in high school.

Sold to US addresses only and with a no return policy.
