Holy Grail Copy of Miles Davis Kinda Blue Triple Misprint first pressing - 6 Eye!!!

Description:

Offered is a verified "First State" 1959 mono pressing of Miles Davis' Kind of Blue. 

This copy is the highly sought-after Triple Misprint—featuring the tracklist error on both the record label and the back of the jacket.  Also Cannonball "Adderly" is misspelled on the jacket front and back liner notes - should be correctly spelled  as "Adderley"

Collector Highlights:

- Double Misprint: Side 2 record label and back cover both incorrectly list "Flamenco Sketches" as Track 1.

- Single Misprint (on front and back of jacket):  Cannonball "Adderly" is misspelled on the jacket front and back liner notes - should be correctly spelled  as "Adderley"

• Matrix / Dead Wax: XLP47324–1D (Side 1) and XLP47325–1D (Side 2).

• Provenance: Features the "T" Terre Haute plant stamp and the "4" Imperial Paper Box Corp (Brooklyn) printer's mark.

Condition Report:

• Vinyl (VG to VG+): Strong gloss with some light surface marks and paper wisps. No deep scratches. Punchy mono fidelity expected of a 1D/1D pressing. Vinyl looks very good.

• Jacket (VG-): The jacket is bright and colors display beautifully, featuring the "4" mark on back right corner. Note: There are seam splits along the top edge. Aside from the splits, the jacket is in good vintage condition with standard shelf wear for its age. On the back cover at bottom there is some wear/loss. See photos.

• Labels: Excellent 6-Eye labels; very legible with no obvious spindle wear.

Has original plastic record sleeve.

The jacket has been placed in plastic sleeve as well.  The record was placed in new acid free paper sleeve in its original plastic sleeve.

Shipping:

Professional packaging. Vinyl will be removed from the jacket and placed in a separate sleeve during shipping to prevent further seam damage.
