Description
Up for auction is a great lp by the legendary Miles Davis. This is a copy of "Collectors' Item" released in 1956 on the Prestige label. The Number on this one is PRLP 7044.
The cover has a great picture of old bottles and is on a very attactive blue.. It is in very good condition. There is slight scuffing on the front cover. The back cover is great too. The slick is peeling away slightly on the bottom, this can be reglued. There is a name written faintly in pencil on the top above the title. Slight ring wear. The seams are all nice and tight no splits anywhere. Some paper loss at the corners but does not detract from the overall beauty of the lp.
The record is on the original yellow Prestige label. It reads: 'Prestige' on top and 'Long Playing Microgroove' on bottom. Below 'Prestige' is 'Prestige Records Inc : 446 W. 50th St., N. Y. C.' There are light stratches on both sides but the record still retains alot of gloss to it. Could use a cleaning. Labels are beautiful a bright yellow no tears or marks. Comes in plain white sleeve.
