Miles Davis (with Al Cohn, Zoot Sims, Jimmy Raney, Sony Truitt, John Lewis, Leonard Gaskin, Kenny Clarke) PLAYS THE MUSIC OF AL COHN. Prestige 154, recorded 1953. Silver and Blue deep groove original label. 446 West 50th Street address. Jacket is NM-: very strong and clean, with only an even layer of predictable yellowing to the whites. Groove surface is visually very clean and well struck. Disc plays Ex: pretty steady low-level noise from an impure Prestige pressing. Head of “Floppy" has some pressing flaws that make for crunchy play especially through the first 2 minutes.
