Description
Miles Davis:Round About Midnight on original 6-eye mono,Columbia(CL 949). With John Coltrane,Red Garland,Paul Chambers,Philly Joe Jones. Recorded right after the famed Cookin',Workin' Prestige sessions,this is a certifiable classic.CONSUMER ALERT: I had to downgrade vinyl rating upon closer inspection. Should satisfy most bidders,but it's not as clean as first described. Remember,all records are as described or money back,less return shipping. Opening bid also lowered accordingly. Some corner crinkling keeps the cover from a mint rating.Includes All of You,Bye Bye Blackbird,Tadd's Delight,Dear Old Stockholm-2 more. Essential liner notes by George Avakian.
Vinyl:VG+,maybe played once,but hairlines,paper scuffs and what is a feelable scratch(although light) will cause a click or two.1A,1C stampers,dg on side1.
Cover:Vg++,clean white back slick,good corners,no splits,corner crinkle to top/left front.
VINYL GRADING
SS : Still Sealed
NM : Near-Mint(or new-). Could have something slight that might indicate other than "near mint" but it should always be noted.
VG++ : Very Good ++. Looks flawless, with slight signs of wear.
VG+ : Very Good +. May show additional(though minor)surface wear,perhaps w/ some hairlines that are not feelable.
VG : Very Good. Can have light scratches or marks affecting sound quality, though still easily playable.
P: POOR! You will almost never see one of these listed,but when you do,it's pure filler. Or it's the cover that is of value!
COVER GRADING
SS : Still Sealed
NM : Like new
VG++: May have light corner bumps,stickers,promo stamps,though not all.
VG+ : More of above is evident.Could have rough corners, while seams may have some light splits.
VG/VG-: Heavy splitting or wear,distinctions will be noted in descriptions..
P : Obviously...poor! You won't see many of these listed either,but when you do,it's the vinyl that's makes the listing worthwhile..
