Description
This vinyl record features the legendary Miles Davis with his debut album for Columbia Records, “'Round About Midnight.” The record is a first pressing, with the 6 eye Columbia label, and is in the 12" LP format. The record has been play graded is in very good plus (VG+) grading. For a record over 65 years old, this copy has very minimal pop and crackle.
The album, bearing the catalog number CL949, was released in 1957 and features classic jazz tracks played by Davis and his accompanying musicians — Paul Chambers on double bass, Red Garland on piano, John Coltrane on saxophone, Davis on trumpet, and Philly Joe Jones on drums. The record is high-fidelity or a mono audio channel. The sleeve is in a conservative very good (VG) grading. There is a corner bump on lower corner on the title seam side. There’s a water stain on the same corner on the reverse. But, there are no seam splits whatsoever. This album is a must-have for jazz lovers and record collectors alike.
