Description

This is Columbia Records CL 949, Miles Davis Round About Midnight, a red and black 6 eye label, original mono issue featuring John Coltrane and Red Garland.  The matrix numbers1K/1F are in the dead wax.  The record is in near mint minus condition with only  a very few light paper sleeve marks (which do not effect the play) keeping it from being near mint.  The record  plays quietly throughout. The labels are perfect. The cover with it's original inner sleeve, has a small amount of shelf wear and a small crease on the lower left, but is otherwise excellent and intact. This is a superb collector's grade copy of  this classic session offered with no reserve. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping on multiple orders. International customers, please wait for an invoice, or contact me about combined shipping rates as Ebay does not provide accurate numbers. Thanks for looking.
