The cover is in very good condition, only showing slight signs of wear/storage.
Excellent vinyl, very little play.
Appears to be the original inner sleeve, in good condition slightly faded.
My very first Miles album was “Bitches Brew” (indeed first jazz album) and I then went on to buy some of his back catalogue, so unless otherwise stated most of his albums would have been purchased around 1970. I remember being amazed when first hearing the album and loved to lie on the floor with the lights out and just let the music float over me.
I have been an audiophile for over 50 years and all vinyl etc lovingly cared for, and since the original purchase perfectly stored on appropriate shelving and in a smoke free environment. As far back as the late 60’s a friend built me a beautiful solid wood cabinet to store the vinyl, which I used for over 40 years.
I doubt this has been played for over 30 years.
Recently a sold album was rejected by the purchaser because of a musty smell and slight stains on the inner sleeve (the vinyl was immaculate). It was from a series of half-speed masters with their own brand of inner sleeve. A friend has subsequently confirmed the smell with a similar release not yet sold. My sense of smell must be failing me because I could not smell the mild odour, I also cannot often smell the diffuser in my hall. My failing eye sight obviously did not spot the blemishes on the sleeve. My sincerest apologies if I miss any blemishes or odour again. I shall try my best.

I started with the old favourites, Garrard SP25 Mk 2, Wharfedale Speakers & Rotel or Marantz Amp. Subsequent gear included (not complete – memory not good enough now):
Turntables: Dual 1219, Systemdeck, Linn Sondek LP12, Transcriptor, Thorens, Cartridges: Entre, Dynavector, Ortofon + an SME Series 3 arm somewhere along the way Speakers: Celestian Ditton 44, Yamaha NS 1000, + another beautiful pair I can’t remember Power Amp: Cube Power Amp, Beard Valve Amp Pre Amp: Meridian, Musical Fidelity
The favourite system early 1990’s, Oracle turntable, Fidelity Research Arm, Koetsu Black K cartridge, Mark Levinson Pre (£13K), Mark Levinson Power (£3K), ProAc Studio 3 EBS speakers.
A guy from Meridian came to listen because they were seeking a mid-range unit for a new speaker and he wanted to hear the ProAc. After a couple of hour’s he said that it was one of the best systems he had ever heard, “came to listen to the driver and ended just listening to the music”
In 1987 I started on a wonderful journey, and still going on, collecting Grateful Dead music. Involving thousands of cassettes (over 3000), 150 PCM tapes, 300 DAT Tapes and currently 4700 Cd’s, and over 800 duplicates etc. discarded. This involved 6 Nakamichi Decks and 2 Professional DAT machines.
With this commitment I hardly played any vinyl.
