Description
MILES DAVIS VOLUME 1, Blue Note BLP 1501, deep groove pressing, flat edge, Lexington Ave on jacket and labels, RVG and ear symbol in dead wax.
On this 1952-53 recording, the musicians are MIles Davis (trumpet), JJ Johnson (trombone), Jackie McLean (alto sax), Jimmy Heath (tenor sax), Gil Coggins (piano), Percy Heath, Oscar Pettiford (bass), Art Blakey, Kenny Clarke (drums).
The tunes are Tempus Fugit, Kelo, Enigma, Ray's Idea, How Deep Is the Ocean, C.T.A. (2 takes), Dear Old Stockholm, Chance It, Yesterdays, Donna, Would'n You.
Condition of record is E-, no scuffs, no scratches, several spindle marks, plays clean and quiet. Jacket shows some overall wear, no seam splits. Writing on back (pictured). Name handwritten in ink on back.

V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.
