Description
Prestige 7166, deep groove with 203 South Washington Ave., Bergenfield, N.J. on both labels and the bottom of the back cover. 8 tracks includes 2 takes of "The Theme". Davis, trumpet; John Coltrane, tenor sax; Red Garland, piano; Paul Chambers, bass; "Philly" Joe Jones, drums.
Cover: VG+ to Mint(-) 1" paper loss on the spine near the upper edge. Other corners have minor wear. All edges are intact. Some aging on the back cover with some slightly darker toning along the edges. Gloss finished front cover.
Record: VG+ to Mint(-) Visually shows no wear with no markings on the vinyl surface. There is some surface noise on the first few revolutions on Side A, Track 1. Less on Side B, Track 1. There is a rare, occasional click elsewhere on each side. These are extremely infrequent but audible. The record appears to have been played only a very few times. Most of the record has no surface noise. Audibly checked.
