Description

This is Miles Davis and the Modern Jazz Giants, a Prestige 7150 vinyl recording.  This is a reissue and contains some performances from the "classic session of all time when a combination of giants gathered in Rudy Van Gelder's studio for an historic meeting on Christmas Eve afternoon, 1954.  Featured artists are:  Miles Davis, Milt Jackson, Thelonious Monk, Percy Heath, Kenny Clarke, John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones.  Notes by Ira Gitler on the back cover explain the works played on this album.  

This recording is in New Condition and comes to you in the original packaging still sealed in plastic.  It has been stored with care in a smoke-free, pet-free home.
