Description

The is the original 10” deep groove “P”-pressing of Miles Davis “Volume 2” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 5022.  The flat rim playing surface is in excellent condition, with a high luster; Side 2 opens with a few light tics and the second track has a small hairline that produces 19 tics at the beginning.  The coated frame cover is bright and clean throughout; light rubbing at the top and bottom of the back slick; 4” superficial wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.  Personnel include J.J. Johnson, Jimmy Heath, Gil Coggins, Percy Heath, and Art Blakey.  $100.00.
