Description

This is the original deep groove RVG-etched “P”-pressing of Miles Davis “Volume 1” on the Lexington Avenue labels of Blue Note BLP 1501.  The flat rim playing surface is in excellent condition, with a nice luster; perhaps played once or twice.  The coated Lexington Avenue frame cover is in extraordinary condition, immaculate throughout; 1” bump at the lower left corner.  “The Blue Note Story” pamphlet is included.  Personnel include Jay Jay Johnson, Jackie McLean, Horace Silver, Oscar Pettiford, and Art Blakey.  $300.00
