Description

This is the original deep-groove RVG-etched pressing of Miles Davis “The New Miles Davis Quartet” of the West 50th St. labels of Prestige PRLP 7014.  The playing surface is immaculate, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The coated frame West 50th Street cover is also in remarkable condition – bright and clean throughout – with just ¾” wear on the bottom seam, at the opening.  This is Coltrane’s first recording with Miles.

 

Personnel include John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones.
