Columbia CL 1355-Mono

1959 33 1/3 RPM original 1st press mono LP release. Seminal Jazz record, perhaps the best of Miles' career, and one of the top-selling Jazz albums of all time! All star band is Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Paul Chambers, Jimmy Cobb, Bill Evans, and Wynton Kelly. Tracks include "So What," "Freddie Freeloader," and "Flamenco Sketches." Cover is super-clean with only the most minor wear to bottom right corner-beautifully preserved! No stains, splits, tears, or writing. Disc (medium weight vinyl-red label-"6 eye" design) shows slightly diminished gloss from play, but no real scratches anywhere (a little spindling/scuffing on side 1). Plays nicely with moderate surface noise and clear sound.
