Description
This is simply one of the best, most beautifully constructed albums I have ever heard. It captures Riperton with some very idiosyncratic material that probably only her voice would have been able to fully realize. And she hit a home run on this one. Everything good thing the critics have said on this one is correct (for once). Both sides play at the VG- level. The reason I placed a minus is that there are pops in certain places and some surface noise in certain places, but not all places. There are plenty of places on the record with VG+ quality, but rounding down to the weakest link is the name of my game. The jacket has no splits, but does have some worn corners. This is the GRT pressing, not Janus. There is a small bullet hole through the cover and record.
All of my items are shipped in standard LP/45 mailers with stiffeners and bubble wrap. I do not cut corners in this area.
*International buyers, if you are requesting any shipping quicker than First Class, please wait until I send you an invoice before paying. You are responsible for any customs, duty or value added tax assessed by your country on top of what you paid me for the item.
International shipping rates largely depend on the weight/size and shipping method. At this time, 7 inch records are a flat $16 worldwide for First Class. 12 inch records are $20 First Class. Double albums are $24. For any quicker shipping methods, please ask. Please note these prices do not apply when I ship multiple records.
I do not mark items as gifts in order to avoid your paying import fees.
I ship First Class Mail International for purchases less than $50 unless you advise me otherwise. If you win an item, please email me upon winning the item if you want the shipping upgraded. Please specify which shipping method you want. Due to time constraints, I cannot operate outside of the USPS at this time.*
-I ship on Tuesdays and Fridays.
-Texas residents please wait for invoice as sales tax is calculated on final bid**
-All lp’s are visually graded except as otherwise noted.
Returns:
-If any issues arise with the quality of my product, please contact me first via ebay before leaving feedback and I will ensure the problem is rectified. As items are visually graded and spot tested, there is the potential that 1/100 times there could be a skip on an lp that I simply missed by visual inspection. If this is the case, I do want to hear about it. Nothing worse than drinking a nice cold beverage and then having to deal with an unexpected skip on track 3, side B and then you have to get up and your whole night is wrecked. I understand. Generally in these situations I offer full refund upon receipt of the product in the condition I sent it, or I will offer a partial refund. In any case, I want to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase.
