Description

FLAT, UNCUT SLEEVE ONLY - NO RECORD INCLUDED! Super-duper Rare, Mint-condition, flat, uncut cover for 3rd pressing of Minor Threat's first 7" EP. (11" x 17" [280mm x 433mm]) Black ink on Green Paper, very fancy. Printed at Kwik Kopy in Bethesda, Maryland. This is one of VERY few uncut covers left over after laboriously cutting, folding, gluing and filling 1,000 of them with records. I still remember clearly how shiny and painful one's fingernails would get after doing several hunded covers, from burnishing down folds. It was nice of friends to come over and help us with them, while we ate pizza from Mario's and watched TV. Next to "Small Man, Big Mouth" on the back cover, you can see the first mention of "Flex Your Head", printed on the tab for gluing. Usually you can only see this when covers come unglued. (which is quite often, as some of the various glues we used lasted better than others.) .....CONDITION: Mint, mint, mint. So mint, it's green! It has been kept completely flat and away from light for 25 years. PROVENANCE: This uncut 7" cover is completely, unconditionally guaranteed to be 100% original, and comes from the punk archives of Jeff Nelson ( Minor Threat / Dischord ), which are being downsized after having recently been deemed to be "too big" and "insane". SHIPPING: Flyer will be packed flat between multiple sheets of thick-ass cardboard (unless you find that offensive, in which case I will use nice, sturdy All-American cardboard). Priority Mail Postage/Insurance/Delivery confirmation will be about $7.50. (I'm basically charging you what the Post Office charges me). Outside of USA: Once packed for proper protection, package will be fairly big and will probably not be cheap to mail overseas.
