Minor Threat – Out of Step (1983) First U.S. Pressing – Dischord Records

Super clean copy of Minor Threat – Out of Step, the 1983 first U.S. pressing on Dischord Records. Includes the original lyric insert, a small promotional poster, and a vintage magazine ad clipping.

The jacket is in excellent condition, featuring the solid black back cover that identifies a true first pressing. The vinyl is exceptionally clean and appears to have seen very little play. It could use a light cleaning to remove some surface dust, but otherwise presents beautifully.

An outstanding example of this hardcore classic and a true upgrade copy for any collection.

First Pressing Details (per Discogs):

  • No colored stripe on the front cover.
  • Solid black back cover (the unintended first pressing variation).
  • Includes the original 8½" × 11" lyric sheet.
  • Catalog number Dischord Nº 10 on the spine and No. 10 on the labels.
  • "Cashing In" is not listed on the record label.
  • Contains the original mix, which ends Side B with echo on Ian MacKaye's vocals. The later remix adds orchestra tuning sounds. The original mix was later used on the Complete Discography CD and the 2009 vinyl reissue.
  • Approximately 3,500 copies were pressed.
