If you’re an old fan like me, relive the release that at that time was the only full band show in it’s entirety. This show set me on a 30 plus year coarse to reach destination: Red Rocks. To see DMB, Ryan Adams, Tool is supposed to come out with a new album next year. But Dave would be the best. This show has pacing. Tension and release all over it. Bursts of extreme energy and showering in emotions. My favorite concert I’ve never seen. Two Step has the great fresh energy that a newer song will create. The Lie in Our Graves then Dancing Nancies, to one of the best Warehouses I’ve ever heard. It’s my favorite song by DMB and shines here. They are riding a cloud at this point and whatever comes after will only have some leftover magic to deliver a Drive in, Lover Lay Down, then another favorite of mine, Rhyme and Reason that is sung by Dave pouring his heart out. #36 starts with some hip hop drum beats then slides into the intoxicating dance number that it is. Then Ants ???? Marching to close the show. What a powerful experience and perfect set ending song. The guys come out for a quiet Typical and then deliver a gnarly All Along the Watchtower that is way so much better with Tim Reynolds and they got him hear. It’s a blast. Sounds way better than the cds I listened to death. I don’t think there’s an official live DMB release that rivals this performance. If so, let me know! Within 3 days of payment the item will ship.
