Description

Check out this mint/unplayed copy of the unbelievably rare “Torches and Standards” LP by legendary LA artist Raymond Pettibon! Released by Blast First in 1990, these LP’s sold out instantly to collectors, and they almost never change hands. This copy was bought in 1990 and never played – that right, it is in absolutely mint condition – in fact the first time the disc was ever taken out of the plastic sleeve was to take these pictures. It’s a full 12” LP size record with original, exclusive Pettibon art on each side of the disc, plus it comes with a full size (11 3/4 x 11 3/4 inches) 12 page booklet, again with amazing, exclusive to the project Pettibon art. It’s all printed in black and red on white, and is awesome looking – these photos don’t begin to do it justice. There are 9 tracks on this record (Pettibon supplies vocals) but like I said it’s never been played so I can’t tell you what it sounds like. I bought it for the art, and there is so much of it here its like having a mini-Pettibon art show right in your house.
