Description
I am selling my Beatles and Rolling Stones vinyl collection as they have been stored, carefully, for a long time. I bought them back in the 60’s when I was a great fan and eagerly awaited each release. I am not a professional seller so I will rely on photographs and descriptions to tell any potential buyer about each record. I am willing to answer any questions you might have. I will wrap them carefully in cardboard.
This record was released in 1969. It is one of the originals I think as it has no mention of Her Majesty on the cover or the labels.
The matrix is yex 749-2 and yex 750-1 and the apple is misaligned on the cover. The cover is in good condition considering it’s age. There is some wrinkling on the cover but very little really. There is a slight pressure ring where it has been stored. The opening to the sleeve is good but a bit discoloured. The fold is clean. The white inner sleeve is discoloured on the edge but otherwise in good order. The record has some surface marks and scratches but apart from an occasional little crackling noise it plays amazingly well. The labels are perfect without any scratches around the hole. I really think, considering it’s age, this record is in excellent condition.
The songs are: Side 1 Come together. Something. Maxwell’s Silver Hammer. Oh! darling. Octopus’s Garden. I want you (she’s so heavy). Side 2 Here comes the sun. Because. You never give me your money. Sun King. Mean Mr Mustard. Polythene Pam. She came in through the window. Golden slumbers. Carry that weight. The end.
As I’ve said I’m not a professional, this record has been in my ownership since I bought it, so if you what to ask questions about it please do. I will pack the record carefully and send by Royal Mail Special Delivery at a cost of £9.
