Description
Misfits - "Walk Among Us" vinyl LP. This one is unusual (or maybe not?*): The jacket is for the original Italian 1982 pressing on Ruby/Expanded records... but the record itself is for the original US pressing, or is at least 100% identical to it in every respect. Same labels, same matrix numbers, everything. You can tell the same stampers were used because the matrices are handwritten, and every tiny detail of each number and letter are the same.
Cover is VG+ Vinyl has light scuffing that covers both sides; nothing deep (extremely superficial, in fact), but it's enough to make me grade it VG. However the record plays quite well and enjoyably overall. There is surface noise and some crackle between tracks, but the music overpowers it. If this were a quiet, minimalist folk record, it might be more of a problem, but hey, this is the Misfits--and they rock hard and loud!
*Misfits record collecting requires lots of arcane knowledge, only a little of which I possess. So if there are any experts out there who know what's up with this, feel free to let me know, because I'm curious!
I offer "combined shipping x infinity" (see below).
I grade visually and conservatively under a bright light, according to the Goldmine guidelines. If a record is "on the cusp" (between VG+ and EX, say), I tend to choose the lower grade. As a collector myself, I am all too familiar with the frustration of buying a record graded "NM," only to have it arrive at your house all scratched-up, so I err on the side of under-grading. And if I make a mistake somehow and you are unsatisfied with a record's condition, you can rest assured that I'll feel terrible about it, and will do whatever I can, within reason, to ensure your satisfaction.
I pack in sturdy, cardboard LP mailers. When shipping, I will package the record outside of the cover, so as to avoid seam splits. If the original inner sleeve is printed or otherwise fancy, I will ship the record in a plain inner for protection (including the fancy sleeve in the package, of course!)
Shipping within the US is $4.00 via media mail, $8.50 via Priority. This includes delivery confirmation and online tracking. *Bonus* - If you choose the media mail option within the US, not only will I combine shipping, but I'll combine it for an infinite amount of records. In other words, shipping would be only $4 no matter how many are in the box. It's a win-win: you get cheap shipping, and I don't have to pack as many boxes!
Shipping to Canada is $7.50. Elsewhere internationally (except for a few places--see below*), including Western Europe, Japan and Australia, it is $14.

*If you live in Italy, Russia, Greece, China or Brazil (or other places outside of Western Europe), shipping is $34. This is because I have had trouble with packages either taking a very long time or never arriving at all, and this is how much it costs to get it tracked and insured. I am very sorry about this; I just want us all to be protected!

OK, I added some pics--the best I could do with my mediocre, inconsistent camera. I managed to get a pic of one "set" of matrix numbers (there are three "sets" on each side, and sorry for the dust particles in pic, btw). It took me about 20 attempts to capture this one successfully, but I can try to take pictures of more numbers if necessary. In the meantime, here is a detailed description of the matrix numbers, as well as their approximate locations in the dead wax:
Side 1 JRR-804-A P.B. L-8564
When you position the "JRR-804-A" (which is in the pic) at the bottom, the "P.B." is about a quarter of the way around, to the right. The "L-8564" is yet another quarter of the way around to the right, on the top and opposite the "JRR-804-A"
Side 2 JRR-804-B P.B. L-8564-X
Same layout as on Side 1, with everything about a quarter-turn away from each other.
