Mississippi Joe Callicott - Presenting the Country Blues LP UK Original Blue Horizon LP from 1968.
On offer here is a nice copy of this 1968 Blue Horizon release featuring the wonderful and enigmatic Mississippi Joe Callicott. Released as part of their Country Blues Series, this is one of the rarest and best.
The vinyl is graded VG to side 1 and Excellent for side 2, There are a few light scratches that cannot be felt but do cause a few clicks on rotation through parts of track 1 and 2, it is no more than that but it has mean't me lowering the grade from what would have been excellent throughout, there are no jumps or anything more serious but I prefer to be on the conservative side of grading. It is still a very good copy and the rest of the LP plays beautifully and clean with very clear sound quality and little background noise.
The front laminated cover is graded VG+ or better and is clean and solid, there is some light ring wear to the reverse and a small scuff but still a very decent example.
Original plain paper inner sleeve is Excellent.
This is a really great country blues album by Mississippi Joe Callicott and well worth owning despite the odd cover design... Don't miss this one.
