Mixed Emotions - Gold of my life - Rock-way - EX

heres the track that got everyone talking a few years back, more for the who owns the royalties to what, whats a real one, 1st press etc.etc

Well the simple answer is who knows, as this one doesn't fit any "findings" that have been discussed, theres some that came out in 1975, some in 76 and so forth, According to manships guide the first press did have the writers credits on the labels, the second didnt,
also according to manships guide looking at matrix in run outs etc this record is the last recent release, but then it doesnt fit the bill because manship says this matrix should have a 4 turn run out but mine only has a two turn run out like the 1st issue, and also when you try and date it, this copy has been in the hands of two good friends who are big collectors for a long number of years before the recent diluge of copies came on from elijah cole himself.

So if some Guru actually knows the truth of this record I'd love to know, what is probable is that they all (except the EMI copies that were pressed in europe) originated from the same source and none are actually boots just pressed at different times.

Its still a flipping good tune though
