I am the original owner, and have had this MoFi Ultradeck Turntable with MasterTracker Cartridge for 5 months, and it has had very little use, the number of hours of play is small.. It is a brilliant performer, but I am using high resolution streaming and CDs more than LPs for listening.
This Ultradeck includes the top tier MoFi MasterTracker cartridge. I use an ultrasonic record wash for all my albums. Even brand new albums are cleaned. After use, I use a stylus 'goo' cleaner that the stylus is lowered into for a gentle removal of any debris clinging to it. This means that the MasterTracker stylus is spotless. . there is no grunge or filth that can impair the performance of the cartridge.
For a little more than MoFi's lower cost Studiodeck, you are getting their top tier turntable. Whoever makes this purchase will not only receive an excellent deal, but will be very happy with the purchase.
The original box, materials, and packaging will be with the turntable. The turntable can be safely repacked, as per the instructions by MoFi, and safely shipped. However, a wise buyer will make sure that the turntable is fully insured against shipping damage caused by abusive handling.
Please Note: Although the pictures do show the Ultradeck with the MoFi record weight, that weight is NOT included with the purchase.
Shipping: The estimated cost of the shipping is just that: an estimate. The actual cost can be much lower, or higher. The buyer will have the choice of how they wish the turntable shipped. The shipper and type of shipping service chosen will determine actual cost. The turntable itself is heavy, and with all packaging and the shipping carton the shipping weight is 27 pounds.
If you send payment for the turntable before I send you an invoice of the total cost that includes the actual total cost of the shipping, I will either refund the amount overpaid, or request additional payment to cover the actual cost of the shipment.
What I do not do is artificially pad the selling price with overstated shipping costs. You only pay for the actual cost of shipping: No handling fees, no surcharges.
Returns: I want my buyers happy. I am easy to work with when an issue arises about unseen defects in the items that I sell. I work hard to make sure that what I sell is accurately described, but my main concern is that you feel confident in buying from me.
I always will accept returns if contacted within 24 hours after you have received the product. Returns are only allowed for observable defects in the product, not from damage due to shipping, or for buyer's regret.
The buyer pays for return shipping. When I receive the turntable back, I will inspect it for the defect claimed. If the claim is supported, then a full refund will be made, including shipping.
If I cannot verify the defect, there will be no refund issued, and the buyer must pay to have the turntable shipped back. A refusal by the buyer to pay for return shipping within 14 days of my notification of a rejected claim, will result in the buyer losing all claim to the turntable that was returned, and it will be re-auctioned.
