In 1969 Elvis walked into American Sound Studios in Memphis and took back control of his career for perhaps the last time. He was revitalized from the 68 comeback special and decided to trust a 33 year old producer Chip Moman to shape what would become for many Elvis’ greatest album ever, ‘From Elvis in Memphis’. Without the Colonel to watch over him Elvis enthusiastically attacked some new and classic repertoire
NOTE: VPI cleaned means that this record was cleaned on a professional $500 cleaning machine, which does wonders for the playback of all vinyl records!
