Description
Ultra-rare MFSL Demonstration record. One of the first records pressed from the first Aja masters. If you like Aja (and I LOVE Aja!!!), this is the best pressing you will ever find. Stunning sound, comparable if not better than a UHQR pressing. This is the first Aja MFSL Demonstration record I've ever seen on eBay. Why? They were made in very limited quantities, probably less than 100 copies, and this record is truly a DEMONSTRATION record, so it's tough to part with.
In my case, I have too many records, so many gems have to go. Life goes on, priorities shift.
The LP is in ultra-clean, Near Mint condition. Awesome sound!!! The cover is in very good VG+ condition, with minor wear on the top and bottom edges.
Artfully and lovingly mastered from the original, first generation ABC Master tapes by a Mobile Fidelity team that was having its best week ever, under the supervision of Don Fagen and Walter Becker. Walter and Don were given 5 Demo copies each by MFSL, and assuming they each still have one, it's the Aja they'd play for their friends today. There never has been and never will be a better sounding Aja!!!
Extremely well taken care of, stored upright in a protective cover in a smoke-free air conditioned home.
