Description
From my personal collection of 40 years, for sale is a 1981 vintage Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs ½ speed mastered audiophile version of Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour" MFSL 1-047. Flawless cover...NM and disc is NM...not Mint only because it has been opened and played at least once. C'mon, It's the Beatles...Magical Mystery Tour....second only to Abbey Road (listed for sale here also) in sonic mastery for the day and a milestone album as a band.
Re-mastered utilizing what was in 1981 the most advanced equipment available in the world. Pressed utilizing 100% virgin vinyl and pressed at the Japan Victor Corp (JVC), Mobile Fidelity's recordings are among the quietest if not the quietest vinyl recordings with the highest dynamic range available from a record anywhere in the world still today.
You aren't likely to find one cleaner in better condition anywhere unless it is Mint unopened. I stored my ½ speed collection in their original plastic sleeves, slipped on backwards to minimize dust infiltration to safeguard the disc and to protect the cover.
I do not photograph the disc to minimize possibility of contamination from fingerprints and/or dust.
Please ask any questions you may have before bidding, due to the delicate nature of these antique recordings and printed material all sales are final and no returns will be accepted. Thanks for looking! I have numerous other Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs (and others) treasures to be found here also! Check them out! Fed Ex shipping to lower 48 only!
