Modern Motor tests the new Holden flexidisc ( Ambassador Records), which was included in Modern Motor magazine in 1971 to advertise the newly released HQ model.This record is entertainment plus!Listen as the test driver hammers the cars, testing acceleration times, cornering, and cabin appointments - there's even an evaluation by the beautiful Bobo Faulkner ( you probably have to be near sixty to remember her), who was Bert Newtons' sidekick at the time.This disc is pure entertainment, and brings forth the laughs after a few Saturday afternoon beers with the boys.Anyone who can make a 202 perform like this expose, deserves to be world champion.
Gatefold sleeve has four pages of pictures and specifications, engine options etc, and it's in very sound condition - a few very light creases the only real flaw - remember it's 40 years old.The record plays great, especially considering it's only as thick as a few sheets of paper - excellent audio quality in fact.
