NEVER PLAYED!!!
An album for all and for nobody. Hailing directly from the icy lands of Mother Russia, M8L8TH play a unique nationalist-tinged brand of black metal that combines the rawness, the aggression and the scathing attitude of both black metal and RAC. "By the Wing of Black" is their debut album, and also one of the finest examples of the genre. We all know how controversial territory they're stepping in, but "By the Wing of Black" will result in an amazing, unforgettable listening experience for anyone willing to eventually judge this album for the music, instead of attacking it due to the controversial nature of its lyrics (personally I'm not able to decipher them, since I don't speak Russian, although I guess they deal with nationalism and other delicate topics, indeed).
"By the Wing of Black" is definitely one of the most original and well-crafted black metal albums of the 21st century, maybe ever. It's got everything: from the atmosphere, to the emotion, to the brilliant songwriting and memorable musicianship, this record is a joy to the ears, something that no extreme metal aficionado should ever miss. Give it a chance, and take it for what it is: a perfect example of how extreme music is done right.
