Beautiful unplayed set of the first five Monkees LP on colored vinyl, released in 1996 on Sundazed Records. This is the complete set - Sundazed didn’t continue with the remaining Monkees titles.
They’ve been carefully stored in my collection since I purchased them in 1996, with the vinyl stored in audiophile (rice paper) inner sleeves.
Titles are:
- The Monkees (Orange Vinyl) - this is one of the first 1000 copies pressed, with "Papa Jean's Blues" on the front cover, back cover and label.
- More Of The Monkees (Green Vinyl)
- Headquarters (Red Vinyl)
- Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. (Blue Vinyl)
- The Birds, The Bees & The Monkees (Yellow Vinyl)
Each LP includes an insert with a color photo and extensive liner notes (at the time, expanded and updated with new info) and session information by Andrew Sandoval.
Note in the pic, the More Of The Monkees insert (Davy pic) has a couple of creases on the top corner. It was folded when I opened it, so it happened at the factory.
The hype stickers were identical for all five titles, and four of them are included (I apparently didn’t save the sticker for the first album, no idea how/why).

* CAREFUL PACKAGING: I pack every item securely, just the way I’d want to receive it. (Check my feedback, there are several comments about it.)
* LPs & 45s are shipped in standard mailers with insert pads; outer corners are reinforced with tape; except for sealed items, discs are removed from cover/sleeve to prevent seam splits; every effort is made to protect the vinyl, the cover and any inserts.
