The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn

Matrix nos. Side 1: XAX 3419-2  Side 2: XAX 3420-1

Original copy of this groundbreaking LP in mono. I'm no expert record grader, but I'll do my best to describe it accurately and honestly- the last thing I want is an unhappy winning bidder, so if you need anything clarifying do please let me know!

The sleeve has survived well, with just a couple of creases in the lamination on the front (not the actual cardboard).

The record itself has a number of generally light surface marks on both sides. Side 2 track 1 has what looks like a scratch, but as far as I can tell is inaudible. The record has obviously been well played over 40-odd years and exhibits audible wear noticeably on loud passages. There is a light regular tick for the first 30 or so seconds of side 1 track 1. There are a few low level pops between tracks. I think this would classify the overall condition as 'good'.

Please note that on the photo of the label, the marks to the right are reflections of my digital camera strap and not scratches!

Needless to say it is an amazing album and sounds incredibly powerful in mono.
