Description

THE MARK V
"I Want To Say" b/w
"You Make Me Lose My Mind"
1960s Garage Rock Original 45RPM Record
BLAST RECORDS (Blast 215)
D.J. White Label Promo Copy
- Estate Fresh - Great Condition - This amazing old 'garage rock' 45 RPM record comes to you estate fresh from an old Essex County, New Jersey home we recently liquidated. Found packed up in a 45 case along w/ a bunch of Perry Como and Frank Sinatra singles, this lot has sat undisturbed for decades. What this hep combo was doing with those oldies is beyond me!
Released on the Blast label back in the 1960s, this impossible to find single is a white label promo noted "D.J. Copy". Side A is "I Want To Say" (2:22) with writing credits going to L. Cerame, G. Snow, R. Eder, T. Montanino, R. Hackling. Side B is "You Make Me Lost My Mind" (2:15) written by Jack Provenzano. My limited internet research reveals that this band was from Indiana and the single came out in 1964. Overall very very nice condition w/ great shine and super labels. It was found in a generic brown paper record sleeve. I'm not an expert on items like this, so I've included large images below for your grading needs. ALSO, I've included 45 second sample tracks of each side of this actual single so that you may judge the audio quality for yourself.

This is the amazing kind of music that the likes of Bill Kelly play on WFMU.  It will certainly make a splendid addition to any sixties garage rock record collection.
