I purchased this in the secondary market advertised with near mint vinyl and a VG+ cover and after my own evaluation I agree with this. Following a light cleaning I did see a couple of faint marks however nothing of any significance with a test play through Grado PS1000e’s confirming an as advertised sound. This having been said numerically I score the vinyl an 94 which I feel is with the mid range of the near mint criteria. Vinyl has been placed in a new MoFi sleeve. I score the cover a 77, a solid C+ and within the mid VG+ spectrum. There are small bumps on the top right and bottom right corners. There is only nominal wear within the left corners. Within the bottom left area there are two small pieces of the cover pieces (3mm x 8mm) & (5mm x 6mm) and it almost blends in because there is white within the bottom right; it's not as bad as it could be. All three seams show light wear although there are no outright separations. What I feel impacts the score most significantly are a number of discoloration spots (upon close inspection) within the front and back cover where it is more noticeable (I don't know if this was sitting outside of a protective bag or what happened) which really couldn't come out in the pictures. At arms length you won't see anything but once you get close you will. The album will be shipped in between cardboard with the vinyl outside of the jacket within a Whiplash record mailer.
