Description

This auction is for a piece of Mountain Goats history. In my opinion it is the most special Mountain Goats record that was pressed on vinyl. A fully fleshed out concept album "about organ harvesting colonies on the moon and the employees thereof, who spent their off months living in secluded opulence in remote American locations" (John Darnielle). A collaboration between John Darnielle and the great John Vanderslice. There were only 1000 records ever made.
I love this album but I have hit hard times and so it is with great reluctance that I auction it off.
This copy has been played only once!
As you can see there is slight wear on the corners of the sleeve. They are on the left hand side and the top as you are looking at the album straight on. These imperfections were there when the record arrived at my house from Cadmean Records. The album cover itself is in other wise pristine condition. It has lived in a dry, protected smoke free environment since I bought it five years ago. It has both original plastic sleeves.
Record will be very carefully shipped.
