Description

The record has "RVG" inscribed in the dead wax. 446 W. 50th St., N.Y.C. written on the 2 record labels; 447 West 50th St. address on the bottom of the back cover. Moondog, a.k.a. Louis Thomas Hardin, miscellaneous strings and percussion instruments. This very unusual record includes, on Track 1, additional instrumentation as Moondog passes by the nightclubs, Birdland and the Paladium. Sam Ulano is included on drums on 2 tracks. Some additional instrumentation by Suzuka on the above mentioned Track 1. There are 14 tracks recorded in NY in 1956-1957. Some details on each track are listed in the notes on the back cover. Very rare original

Cover: Mint(-) Intact and clean with slight aging on the back cover.

Record: Mint Visually shows no wear. Possibly never played. 2 small, very light surface rub marks that do not affect the sound. No surface noise. The record plays as new. Audibly checked.
