Description
This is the Italian 1972 LP release of "Nova Solis" by Morgan. It comes with a fold-out lyric insert.
Morgan featured
- Morgan Fisher - formerly of Love Affair, later of Mott The Hoople (and spinoffs) and was Queen's live keyboard player in 1982
- Tim Staffell - he went to school with Brian May (and was in 1984 and Smile with him) and went to art college with Freddie Mercury (who went to see Smile with him and joined the band when Tim left). Tim is the catalyst that allowed Queen to meet, for which we should all be grateful!
- Mo Bacon - formerly of Love Affair, later worked with John Otway
- Bob Sapsed
Overall, this record (and its followup) are very "prog rock". So some great rock alongside some very widdly bits. Queen/Smile aficionados might be interested that the long title track "Nova Solis" contains an excerpt from the Smile song "Earth".
The sleeve is in very good condition. Please note that the lower seam has come unglued, but there are no seam splits. The seam could easily be re-glued, but I prefer to sell it in its natural state and let the buyer decide on what repair is needed.
