Description
This is an excellent vintage LP by Morning on Vault 138, entitled "Morning," from 1970.
"...enduring brilliance for over 3 decades. Two ex-members of Arthur Lee's Love formed an LA based group, originally known as The Morning and The Evening. Luckily for them & us the band signed a contract giving them complete control of the writing, engineering, arranging & production of their first album, which is a highly underrated Folk-Country-Pop jewel. It has a crisp, timeless, laid-back sound, which shines through every track, but particularly on And I'm Gone and Sleepy Eyes. The album closes with a ninety second country gem Dirt Roads - and for this 90 seconds alone, is worth the price of entry. Later, the line-up changed, they made a 2nd album: Struck Like Silver, and although good, doesn't deliver quite like Morning does. Both are highly recommended if you can take your Pop with a country-rock tinge..."
Original USA white label promotional pressing, see photos of labels below. This was manufactured in extremely limited quantities, primarily for radio station play only. This one "leaked out" to the public before it had a chance to be played, however!
Labels are perfectly clean! There are no stickers and no writing! No spindle marks!
Heavy vinyl disc appears perfect and unplayed! There are absolutely no marks, no fingerprints, and no warping!
The Uni-pak gatefold jacket is NM! No bent corners, no splits, no writing, and no ring wear!
This is NOT a cut-out LP, there are absolutely no cut corners, saw marks, or drill holes! No bar code on the back cover!

Many are still sealed, many more are rare white label promotional pressings, and all are NM to MINT unplayed condition! The original owner obviously acquired these just to collect them, not to play them. You'll want to buy as many from this collection as you can so you can get a savings on postage!

Same goes for international: less than eight auctions won add $2 USD per additional LP for Canada and Mexico and $3 USD per additional for all other international.
- Shipped quickly in new shipping cartons with cardboard padding and bubblewrap. Unsealed records and jackets are shipped side by side in new, recloseable, clear poly sleeves, to prevent jacket splits in transit. If you request it, I will double-carton your LPs for $1 extra.
