Morrissey - 'Viva Hate' Japanese LP With Etched 7"- 1988

Catalogue no. RP28-5611 - Toshiba

Japanese LPs are a pleasure to own, being pressed on high quality vinyl and exquisitely packaged. This Japanese pressing of 'Viva Hate' is complete with original OBI strip, Japanese lyric insert (which appears to contain excerpts of an interview in Japanese!) and, best of all, a very limited edition etched one-sided 7" of 'Hairdresser On Fire' (which also contains a miniature Japanese lyric insert). The etched 7" was only given away with initial copies of the first pressing of the Japanese LP, and the etching on the reverse is a striking reproduction of the 'Suedehead' artwork. This item is in outstanding condition throughout, and I doubt you would find one in better shape!

The vinyl LP and labels are in near mint condition, with practically no signs of having been played (just the faintest of spindle marks) and next to no marks on the glossy vinyl surface. The sleeve and OBI strip are mint, with sharp edges and corners and no signs of wear at all - it appears as new! Similarly the etched 7" and packaging are in near mint condition, despite the delicate nature of its thin paper sleeve. An outstanding item.
