Description

Rare. In 2008 Mosaic brought out a four-CD Lester Young/Count Basie set containing 83 selections recorded between 1936 and 1940 which were originally released on 78 rpm Columbia, Okeh and Vocalion phonograph records.

This box set is labelled number 2644 of 5000 in the accompanying booklet. I have never seen another copy for sale - although I must add I generally buy vinyl - hence this sale.

Everything is pristine and the CD's are still shrink wrapped. Never played.

Full review of this Mosaic release is here; http://www.allmusic.com/album/classic-columbia-okeh-and-vocalion-lester-young-with-count-basie-1936-1940-mw0001922107

Can't figure out whats happening with the postage in the listings but will be around £6.50 within the UK signed and tracked and £26.00 internationally tracked.

Could international buyers please contact me for costs before bidding to get an accurate cost.
