6 Mosaic LPs of the complete Johnny Hodges sessions from 1951-1955. This set contains all the recording sessions that Hodges led from 1951 through 1955, the period during which he left the Ellington Orchestra to lead his own ensemble. The sessions essentially feature Hodges' working band with some well-known ringers replacing working members on some occasions. In complete chronological order.
This set is in exquisite condition, along with the 16 page booklet it originally came with.
