Oh, where to begin with this?
Perhaps with the obvious ripoff of the iconic Sticky Fingers cover? Or with the silly umlauts over the 'u'? Or the sound so common with LA hair-bands in the early 80's? No, we start with the title: 'Too Fast For Love'. Think about that for a while. Who on earth would brag about being a quick-shooter?
Crue, that's who.
Look, I get why so many people dig these guys -- metal with a pop feel is a good combo and regardless of taste, the songs are catchy. But hair bands were never my thing, and neither is this. But who cares about me. If you dig these guys, this is for you.
This version of the album is the first US Elektra label Allied Pressing (runout: 60174-A-2SP-AR1- RTB ?2052 s??????? B-16945-A2) complete with the stamped (AR) on the label (see pic). If you check on Discogs you'll see it has value. This comes with the original lyrics insert.
Condition:
- Vinyl (visual grade): EX (8/10). Minimal surface wear, but otherwise clean with no scratches or other flaws. Good shine, and in overall rather nice condition.
- Jacket: VG+ (7/10). a bit of corner, bottom edge, and ringwear, along with some loss of shines. But no seam splitting, rips, tears, marks, etc.
- Play: -- (X/X): I honestly can't tell you how this plays because I haven't listened to it. Not because Crue aren't my thing (and they aren't), but because my turntable needs a new stylus.
