Comments: Their first on Motown after a string of 45’s in New York, some of high quality, some not so exciting, nothing that sold in big numbers. Neither did the early Detroit 45’s until “Grapevine” started to grow. This one is arguably the closest of them all to the classic Motown sound, actually could be used as a sonic display of what that was all about. In addition it has a multitude of minor flourishes like the phrasing “Walk-a-walk-a-walk in my Shoes”, the vocal arrangement of the back-up singers which seem to be and little elegant rhythmic add-ons. I could go on.       

After all the enthusiasm for the A-side I have little to add regarding the B-side. Pretty non-descript.
