Hi, ich verkaufe hier eine echte Rarität - nicht nur für Motörhead-Sammler
Die BBC hat seit den 30er Jahren ihre Sendungen aufgenommen und an die Radiostationen im Commonwealth verteilt. Es wurden pro Platte nicht mehr als 100 Stück hergestellt und die Empfänger waren dazu verpflichtet, bis zu einem bestimmten Datum zu vernichten. Dieses Datum war auf dem Label entsprechend vermerkt - hier wäre am 8.4.83 eigentlich Schluß gewesen.
Hier handelt es sich um die BBC Transcription Services - 909.
Ich habe auf einschlägigen Seiten geschaut und gerade diese Nummer ist nicht aufzufinden (musik-Sammler, discogs). Die Preise für eine x-beliebige BBC Transcription Services Top of the Pops rangiert dort übrigens zwischen 100 bis über 200 €!!! Wer diese LP besitzt, könnte möglicherweise der einzige Besitzer davon noch weltweit sein.. Selbst Mitarbeiter der BBC, die nur eine handschriftliche Liste besitzen, haben diese Nummer offensichtlich nicht in ihrem Bestand.
Alle BBC Transcription Services Aufnahmen sind sehr gesuchte Sammlerstücke und das vorliegende Exemplar beinhaltet für Motörhead-Fans eine wunderschöne Überraschung: Hier wurde das niegelnagelneue Album IRON FIST in der Sendung promoted - Der Titelsong ist 2x vertreten. Es wird in der Anpreisung auch explizit auf Girlschool verwiesen
Brian Mathew präsentiert hier nach eigener Aussage unter anderem: Status Quo, XTC, Roxy Music, The Beach, Shagg Attack, Dollar, Classics Niveau und Motörhead. (Ich hoffe, ich konnte ihn bei den Bandnamen richtig verstehen - da ich keinen Pop höre, bin ich mir da nicht sicher und es gibt auch keinerlei Angaben auf der Platte. Angabe bis auf Motörhead OHNE GEWÄHR - bin da nicht in der Materie drin.)
Hi, I am selling a great copy of the BBC TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES No. 909 (Date for destruction was 8.4.83 . Release in 1982)
Brian Mathew presents in his own words: Status Quo, XTC, Roxy Music, The Beach, Shag Attack, Dollar, Classics Niveau and Motörhead.
All of BBC Transcription Services Records are limited to 100 copies and the Broadcasting stations had to destroy their copy until the printed date (here 8.4.83).
This is the Release 909 - no info sheet included and I just tried to understand what Brian told to be played. I am not common in Pop Music and all I can assure you is that Motörhead is represented with two great Songs. I am the opinion it was played to promote the forthcomming IRON FIST Record because, you can hear the brand new title song and Ace of spades in this Show.
The condition of the copy is very good, the original sleeve is included, no info-sheet and of Course no cover (those records were not for sale and got never any cover).
Because of the high rarity grade and the often estimated Price I am forced to ship only registered and reserved! So shipping depends on your Country - this will make different shipping for different countrys - so please ask before bidding!!!!!

The offered vinyl is in an very very good condition. I can hear some noise and „clacks“ wich may come from dust. I have checked evey record and you will not buy any record here wich is damaged in my view. If you bid on this item, you will accept this – unpleasant sound experience is not a reason to cancel the transaction after.
