Cover: EX    This single comes in it's original EOS records sleeve (as shown in pictures) - looking at previous sales on Popsike, this is in itself a rarity. On the odd occasions where this single has come on the market it has previously been sold in a generic white sleeve!

Labels: EX+  No writing, rips or tears on A or B side labels. Very faint spindle marks can be seen in the right light. The label is intact across centre punch section indicating that this has never been removed.

Vinyl: EX+ Visually this is a stunning example of what is a very rare single. A side plays cleanly with no extraneous surface noise and no pops, clicks or jumps. The B side does have some minor clicks just past the half way mark but these disappear again after a few seconds. This does not in all honesty interfere with the listening experience. Matrix numbers on run off area are EQ010A and EQ010B

Notes: As mentioned above this is a very fine example of a rare 1960s single complete with the original EOS record label sleeve. This single does not come up for sale very often and the start price for this auction has been set taking into account previous sale value, scarcity, condition and the completeness of the package (record and cover).

History: The Mountain Men were a mid-sixties musical combo from Gilfach Goch in Wales comprising Huw Chappell, Michael Mogg, Michael Edwards, Dennis Langmead, and Gerald Dendle. In 1965 the band went to London to record Cell 39 / Bald-Headed Woman and later that year they independently released a further single Too Many People / Without You on the EOS label.

Items will be sent in strong protective packing, the vinyl and inner bag always removed from the outer sleeve to prevent seam splits.

Postage: Despite large increases in postage from the UK recently, we will always charge slightly less than the actual cost and materials.
