Moxie Presents:- The Boulders  Box Set

Ltd Edition Box set of 11 Albums and 1 No.  7" EP record

This Is number 025 of 100. and the EP was available no where else.

Sold to me by the Man himself as he wandered around The TUC or Victoria Fair in the summer of '95. I must have been having a good day, because I went home with no less than 3 different box sets that day, and they are all listed now.

Only Vol. 1 & 11, have their album sleeves, (Vol. 1) has a plain unprinted back. Vol.s 2-10 were not supplied with album sleeves, and to be fair there would not be space in the box if they had been.....

The vinyl is all pressed in different colours except Vol. 11, which is black.

The Ltd Ep is on black vinyl supplied in a white paper sleeve & white labels. ( no expense spared there then...)

According to the Pink Info sheet that came with the Box, the EP should have been numbered & Signed, but guess what.......It isn't.. Guess I was ripped again....

These are now rare. I couldn't find any of these sets on the main seller sites.....

Post/ packing will be the cost of postage & packing materials, and will be advised at Auction end. This is going to weigh over 2kgs. I don't want to split it into two packages, so this may have to go by air parcel if won by a Non UK bidder. (Please don't ask for surface as a refusal may offend)

Year Of Issue:- 1995

Condition of Vinyl:-   Superb Near Mint, played once by me.

Condition of Labels:-  Superb Near Mint,

Condition of Box:-     Strong VG+, Minor & Light damage to one box corner, nothing to get too excited about.  the 2 album covers are Near Mint. Vol. 11 is still in shrink.. The E.p. is in a plain white cover. The "official" pink insert is Near mint

Also included is a track listing in full typed, by me on my trusty Amiga all those years ago, and printed in it's full 24 pin dot matrix glory... must have taken hours & hours...

MINT:- The record is in brand new (ex factory) condition. with No  surface marks. The cover will be perfect, as will any inserts etc. (never used unless it's a factory sealed item.) THe highest grade I ever use is Near Mint. (M-) And I tend to use this very rarely........

VG++ :- The record shows minor signs of having been played, but there will be little or NO lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging, may have slight wear or creasing A great copy that will satisfy the majority of people

VG+ :- The record has obviously been played., but will have no major deterioration in sound quality. It will have some light surface marks, or even the odd LIGHT needle mark. Normal wear & Tear on the cover and any inserts.

PLEASE NOTE:- with regard to the above, The highest grade I EVER give to unsealed vinyl is Near MINT (M- or NM)  I try to list only vinyl that I consider VG+ or above, and I know from past experience that vinyl I describe as VG+, would be graded Ex, by many others.....

PLAY GRADING:- When I have the time or I believe the record to be sufficiently rare I will play grade. This is not to give a subjective view of the music, but to give an indication of the quality of the playback.

Turntable currently used is a Rega P25 fitted with a Goldring 1042 or AKG P8E,  and listened to via Spendor S6E's. Please trust me, in that If I say a recording plays/sounds GREAT.. it does!!
