VISUAL:
N (new, sealed, unopened)
M (mint, opened however no signs of use)
NM (near mint, almost new with 2-3 hair lines possible)
EX+(excellent plus, very clean & shiny with little evidence of play or sleeveremoval)
EX(excellent, some light scuffs or hair lines, light marks of sleeve removal, no scratches)
EX-(excellent minus, lot of hair lines(hair lines are not scratches!), no scratches)
VG+ (very good plus, few superficial scratches& scuffs, general light wear to shellacrecord)
VG (very good, pronounced wear, lack of gloss, severalscratches & scuffs
G (good,pronounced wear, lack of gloss, numerous scratches, but possibly still playable(this grade refers to shellac records only)
AUDIO:
M (like new, perfect sound)
NM(almost perfect sound with a few light pops possible
EX+(occasional slight crackles)
EX(slight crackles through)
VG(medium crackles but not overpowered music, no skips, no jumps)
G (high crackles but no skips or jumps)
