Mozart Complete Works for Violin & Orchestra Schneiderhan DGG 2740 116
Wolfgang Schneiderhan plays and directs the Berlin Philharmonic in performances of the “Complete Works for Violin and Orchestra” by Mozart. They include the 5 “Violin Concertos”, the “Adagio” K 261, and “Rondos” K269 and 373. A three record set, this is a German stereo pressing on the Deutsche Grammophon Label (2740 116). The records are of mint appearance and play and sound superb with a minimum of surface noise. The box and the booklet is excellent.
