Description
Mozart / Josef Krips / Lisa Della Casa / Cesare Siepi - Don Giovanni 4 LP Box Set
Description: Extremely rare and hard to find original UK import first pressing Don Giovanni box set. With original insert.
Year: 1958
Label/Number: Decca FFSS SKL.2117-20 Stereo (deep groove) (2E/1K, 1K/2D, 2E/3D, 1K/1K stamped in dead wax)
Conditions:
Jacket/Sleeve: G (water damage stain on the bottom right hand corner of the front cover and inside on the bottom left hand corner, there is also a coffee mug ring stain on the bottom right hand corner of the front cover, the bottom left hand corner of the box is split, overall light to moderate shelf wear and still completely intact)
(original insert has light handling creases and water/coffee stains on the bottom corners as shown in photos)
Vinyl: VG/VG- (visually all 4 disc's are very clean overall with beautiful gloss and only a few very light surface scuffs which cannot be felt, all 4 disc's play well on my turntable with occasional light to moderate background noise with disc 1 having slightly more noticeable background noise than the other disc's, there are a few non repeating skips that last for just a few seconds at the very beginning of side 2 on disc 2 but I can see no mark that would cause this so it is possibly a factory defect, overall still a very enjoyable listen)
