Description
You are bidding on the extremely rare and sought after 1959 recording of Mozart's Le Nozze Di Figaro on Decca. This is the original wide-band earliest UK pressing with groove stereo labels. The packaging is worn, VG-, with some laminate peeling from the front, a bit of separation in the corners and one panel missing from the bottom front as indicated in the photos. Unfortunately this set lacks its libretto, however, the synopsis is intact, albeit folded and notated. The heavy pancake vinyl retains high gloss and lustre but has light marks throughout, which cause just a hint of background noise here and there. I will grade them a very strong VG overall, bordering on VG+; reproduction is still quite superior to American or reissue pressings; labels are all in nice shape with a few scarce spindle marks. Bid with confidence, I have been selling and collecting rare and unusual records for several years and have many satisfied customers.
